Megatron is the leader of the Decepticons and the enemy of Optimus Prime. Megatron, formally known as Megatronus, was a bot who fought in the gladiatorial pits of Kaon. He later decided to join the Cybertronian Academy along with his new friend Orion Pax. Megatronus became an Cybertronian Commander and was now know as Megatron. Megatron then decided that the council and Sentinel Prime were ruling Cybertron weakly and that he shall rule Cybertron with his new faction known as the Decepticons.
