Kroma'tae was a relatively unimportant planet in the outer rim, located not too far from the Ossus system. Obstinately a part of the Republic, the planet had, instead, been suffering through a fifty-year civil war. The world was, in and of itself a rather uninteresting, if perfectly adequate, planet. Much of its surface was made up of broad grasslands, punctuated by dramatic, steep mountains. About forty percent of the planet's surface was covered with a pair of broad, shallow oceans, dividing the planet into two, roughly evenly-sized continents.
