Ryūku was born to one of Sunagakure's noble clans, the Sōga clan. A rather dangerous clan that had entered Sunagakure by the end of the Second Shinobi World War, he was born in a period of time where no children were being born into the clan. Due to this, he was treated with much respect and for most of his time growing up, he was given special treatment.
