Spiny ChuChus are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. They are also fought as a Mini-boss in the Cave of Flames. Gelatinous blobs, they are a variety of ChuChu. Spiny ChuChus behave similarly to Red ChuChus, but when approached, protrude large spikes from their bodies, protecting them and damaging Link should he touch them. They must be attacked when they draw the spikes back in. If hit by a bomb explosion while in their spiked state they will be stunned as if hit by a Boomerang, leaving them open to attack.
