CS-5783, nicknamed "Red", was a clone heavy gunner who held the rank of sergeant in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars and Great Jedi Purge. Known for his brutality and morbid personality, Red enjoyed killing enemies and was disappointed with fighting droids, as they did not "have any blood to spill." When being issued Order 66, he was glad, and took pleasure killing four Jedi personally during Operation: Knightfall. He intercepted Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was on his way to the communications center. Red tried to kill him, but was easily slain by the Jedi Master.
