The ability can be used to manipulate hair, altering its growth, colouring and texture, as well as manipulating nails. It can therefore be used offensively to strangle others with hair, or to turn nails into sharp claws. The beaks of birds and the horns of rhinos can also be manipulated. Skin can be manipulated to some degree, e.g. to inflict and heal minor cuts and wounds, or to alter colouring.
