Kyle Zorin was a college student at Waverly University and a Midshipman. In addition to that, he was also a member of the illegal group, "Red Cell". He and Frank Smith (Red Cell) were caught playing an illegal game of paintball on the campus which had NCIS Agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Anthony DiNozzo and Caitlin Todd chasing after them. Gibbs later interrogated Zorin and Smith, asking them for the names of the members in their group. It's presumed that Zorin along with Smith and the other members of the group were eventually expelled from the University for their illegal games.
