Located at the intersection of 79th Street and Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, it is served by the 1 train (all times), and by the 2 train (late nights). Typical of many local stations on this line, there is no crossover or crossunder. Northbound passengers must enter on the east side of Broadway, and southbound passengers must enter on the west side of Broadway.
