A Guardian of the Wood, Tathar's usual post was on the northern border of Lórien. He resided in a flet there and saw the interior of the realm he guardsed infrequently. Adept with a longknife and deadly with his long bow, the Sinda carried both weapons. He was exceptionally skilled at moving quietly through the forest and wore garb that blended with brown bark of the beeches and rowan trees that grew more numerously in northern Lórien than did the mellyrn.
