Destroy the balloon lurkers was a mission in The Precursor Legacy that Jak and Daxter completed to obtain a power cell. Daxter made a remark about the mine droppers and Jak decided to eliminate them. This mission replaced Find the trans-pad in the start menu. Keira told Jak about the trans-pads around the planet and suggested he keep an eye out for them. Once he found the trans-pad at Misty Island, the objective was changed to defeating the balloon lurkers.
