Loren Damewood was a Beowulfan citizen and an officer of the Biological Survey Corps. He was extremely agile, leading to rumors that he was the product of illegal genetic engineering. Holding the rank of Commander in 1921 PD, he was served as Colonel Nancy Anderson's executive officer for a BSC anti-slavery strike force stationed at Parmley Station in the Hainuwele System.
