The Hikkosu Project is a large American-Canadian-Arcadian relocation project based in Newark, New Jersey. It was established in September 2000 with the goal of bringing a large group of American and Canadian families to a more quiet environment in Arcadia. Over 1,000 families signed up and in November 2008 these 3,400 people are to arrive in New Cambridge and West Colony. Approximately 1,200 Americans are going to live in and around Mariana City, the other 2,200 people will reside in a newly-constructed community near New Port City: Summerset Village. Due to the overwhelming success of the Hikkosu Project, its successor, the Hikkosu 2 Project, already started in 2004.
