The Reverend Alfred George Prichard (12 June 1869 - 8 December 1945) was a Congregational Minister and politician. Born in Blackfriars, he was the son of councillor George Prichard and Ellen Mollett, daughter of the Reverend George Mollett Murphy. After training at theological college, he became pastor of a church in Norfolk in 1893. In 1897 he returned to London to found Little Ilford Congregational Church. In 1908 he founded Battersea Free Church, of which he was minister until 1938. He became a member of Battersea Borough council, and he was Mayor of Battersea in 1929-30.
