The Hurricane, named after Hurricane Floyd, was YoYoJam's first looping/2A yo-yo, released in early 2000. It was only available in Ice Blue. As with most other yo-yos in the YoYoJam line-up at the time, it featured a ball bearing axle for long sleep times and an adjustable string gap. It also featured a traditional starburst response system, as well as flat inner walls. Also released was the Bandit, a limited edition variant of the Hurricane in Flame Red that is a signature series yo-yo of David Brunner.
