In The Devil in the Deep, Necksa, lord and ruler of the sea elementals, strikes out at the air-breathers who have been polluting the oceans. When the Ghostbusters attempt to stop him, Egon, Ray, and Winston are swallowed by the creature, leaving Peter to save the day.
