The Sith Order of Corruption was set up by Darth Corruticus at around the time of the Jedi Civil War. It continued well past his death in 6 BBY and even out-lasted Darth Krayt's Empire. However, in many ways it was very similar to the latter as the government system allowed the Lord of Corruption to take as many apprentices as he or she wanted.
