Big Hero 6, based on the 2014 Disney film of the same name, is an upcoming animated television series produced by Disney Television Animation for Disney XD and is slated to premiere sometime in 2017. The series is produced by Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley, the creators of the animated Disney series Kim Possible, and it will take place after the events of the film.
