Laufin was one of Blödhgarm's elven spellcasters sent by Islanzadí to protect Eragon and Saphira. He was a male elf and he had black hair. Laufin was one of the three out of twelve elven spell casters not to go with Eragon at the end of Inheritance. The others were Uthinarë and Wyrden, although Wyrden died in Dras-Leona.
