Lu Mu (literally 'mother of Lu') or just Mother Lü (呂母) was a Chinese woman who lived during the reign of Wang Mang. When her son, Lü Yu, was executed for not collecting taxes from the peasants, she began a peasant rebellion against Wang Mang.
