Dancing Lasha Tumbai was the Ukrainian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki performed by Verka Serduchka. The lyrics contain a few words in Russian but mainly they consist of the German, English and Ukrainian languages. "Lasha tumbai" has no real meaning, but some people say that it sounds lke "Russia goodbye". Because Ukraine finished in the top 10 in 2006, the song was automatically qualified for the final. On the night, it was performed 18th following Serbia and preceding the United Kingdom. At the close of voting, it finished in 2nd place with 235 points.
