Forward Slash Records is a Oregon-based alternative record label, founded and owned by Harry Blakeman. The label specializes in pre-production producing of small local acts, and often does not receive official credit on a final product. It is a prime example of local-based start-up labels emerging from the growing user-generated content market. Forward Slash Records is best known for managing the entire catalogue of folk-rock band, Plastic Ice.
