The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 is an interactive "making of" documentary released for the PlayStation 2 on September 12, 2002 in Japan and September 24 of the same year in North America. It allows the player to view all of the polygonal models used for characters, mechanics and areas in the game and listen to the game's soundtrack. The disc also includes five "VR Training" levels that served as a precursor to Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance.
