Tsuta (蔦, Tsuta) is a prodigious Kunoichi of Konohagakure. She was born to two members of the Hyūga branch house, who promptly offered their daughter up to the Konoha organization Root. She was then raised to be an assassin for the village. She progressed at a rate much faster than any aspiring Shinobi child her age, surpassing the Chunin rank at age eight and the Jōnin rank at age ten. She was then given an official place among the operatives of Root at age eleven.
