The Gonk is an alien who appears in the Sesame Street story of "The Geefle and the Gonk". The Gonk is too short to reach the nectarines on the nectarine tree. The Geefle also has trouble; he can't bend his elbows, so he can't feed himself nectarines. The two aliens learn to cooperate: the Geefle picks nectarines for the Gonk to eat, and the Gonk feeds some of the nectarines to the Geefle. According to the story, he is the co-creator of cooperation.
