The Red Clothes are an item from the DX version of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. They are one of the rewards Link can choose upon completion of the Color Dungeon. The Fairy Queen at the end of the dungeon allows Link to choose either the Blue Clothes or the Red Clothes. Wearing the Red Clothes provides much the same benefit as a Piece of Power; however, although Link's attack power is increased, and enemies hit by his sword are sent flying, his walking speed remains the same. Once Link gets the Red Clothes, he cannot get his original green clothes back; he can, however, return to the Fairy Queen to switch to the Blue Clothes if he so chooses.
