Centauri Spaceworks was a huge shipyard and major space development complex created by the United Federation of Planets on Stardate 1/25. Once opened, it began recieving contracts from the many member worlds of the Federation. (FASA RPG module: The Federation) From the name, presumably the yards were based at Alpha Centauri.
