Bruckus was born on the covenant holy city the High Charity in the year 2525. He had aspired to be a covenant Field Master from a young age. In the year 2537 he joined the covenant military at age 12. The Ship Master that was in command of the ship allowed him to join because of the lack of ground forces on the ship. In the year 2540 Bruckus was promoted to Brute Captain when he overheard several grunts on board the ship that they were going to try and start another grunt rebellion. Bruckus quickly killed these grunts and reported their treachery to the Ship Master. He was also transferred to the overcrowded Destroyer Eternal Victor where he was going to serve under the Field Master there.
