The Venusians were engulfed by a poisonous Species that hated the Uranians and wanted to use Earth as a missile raiding position, but were foiled by the same earth boy who defeated the Martians in 2006. Only this was in 2005. He wiped out their ship (by blowing it up, of course). It is unknown if they won the war or not.
