The Cheney Icehawks are a USA Hockey-sanctioned ice hockey team from Cheney, Washington. They play in the Northern Pacific Hockey League at the EWU University Recreation Center. On August 25, 2015 the team management informed the NPHL that they would be unable to ice a team for the 2015-16 season. No word on if the team was hoping for a return for the 2016-17 as of the release announcing the teams ceasing of operations.
