The group's orgins were unknown but they were 5 homeless aliens taken in by a selfish master and trained by Zik and formed the group several years ago. They lived in a sad peace of imprisonment, but Eggman brainwashed them. After the events of Sonic Lost World and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, a mysterious figure (who claims to be a former member of The Subspace Army) brings the Deadly Six from their demise, and ask them to join Neo-Subspace Emmisary to revive Tabuu, the group accepts.
