The "Golden Orb of Day" was a term used by the Shelak Tribe during the Aeon of Strife to describe the star that Aiur orbits. Protoss biology evolved to draw nourishment from its light. The star is orbited by at least four planets, with Aiur being at least the third planet from the star and the outermost planet, Aleun.
