Gempang Island is one of the eight islands that make up the Copper Isles, an archipelagic nation located on the Emerald Ocean. Gempang is located in the center of the archipelago, and due west of Kypriang, the main island of the nation and the location of the capital city of Rajmuat. The two islands are separated by the Long Strait. The city of Yimosuat is located on the northern part of Gempang. The island's southernmost tip touches the Sea of Kypriang, but most of its coast is on the Emerald Ocean.
