Excellent place to take family members who are visiting from abroad. Real Japanese food -- including some that is a bit "too traditional" (as in, it is hard to identify because it is not eaten in other countries). Set menu for about 3000 yen gets you a number of filling courses. Cheaper lunch menu available. I think it is necessary to make reservations for dinner, but not sure about lunch. Set in a lovely, traditional house and garden. Sitting on chairs instead of tatami. They also have pottery classes here.
