Kumar Sangakarra (b. October 22, 1977) is a retired Sri Lankan cricketer, considred one of the best cricketers in the word.He is second in the no. of international runs, only behind Sachin Tendulkar and the highest run-scorer for Sri Lanka in both ODI's and Tests, overtaking Sanath Jaysuriya's record.He retired on August 24, 2015 against a home test match against India.In the 2014 Bangaldesh tour, he smashed 319, behind the third Sri Lankan player to do so.He had a very strong partnership with team-mate, Mahela Jayawardene and the two have broken many records.
