A series of movies produced by the US entertainment industry following the attacks of September 11, 2001. These films focused on managing perception of the attacks, understanding the rage of foreign terrorists, and promoting an image of the United States with the goal of global acceptance. The three movies included In Search of Understanding, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Man with a Vision, starring Alec Baldwin and Kevin Spacey, and Michael Moore’s documentary Hateday.
