The 1970 Rebel 400 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Darlington Speedway on May 9, 1970. David Pearson dominated the event, leading 117 of the 291 laps in route to a three-lap victory on Dick Brooks. Eventual season champ Bobby Isaac led 77 laps before finishing 3rd. [
