The Xeros Gardens was an open public area in the Tharsis sector of Eos centered around a large monument devoted to the Earth Defense Force. Large glass-walled covered walkways cover three sides of the area, bending around in a horseshoe shape. The last side was partly taken up by an eatery called the Haig Bistro before its destruction by the Red Faction. The Xeros Gardens Monument itself was a sister monument to others within the sector including the ones situated at the Utopia Planitia Plaza and Council Square, all toppled by the Red Faction during the Battle of Eos.
