The Lux Lucis was a massive space station constructed by the then Rebel Alliance in 2 ABY near the Tarhassan system. It served first as a dry dock for Alliance spacecraft, from starfighters to capital ships. As time passed, the need for a secondary base became evident, and the Lux Lucis was upgraded to have larger banks of turbolasers and cannons. It hence was upgraded in this way until it became a 12,000 meter long station, able to withstand near any attack.
