Point Chebucto is a tug that was built at in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1992. The tug was built for Eastern Canada Towing Limited, the inspiration for the Great Ocean Tug and Savage Company. A large tug with a high bow and good seakeeping abilities, she provided inspiration for some of the features of the Big Harbour's larger Ocean Tugs. In July 2010, Point Chebucto, along with her sister tugs were reassigned from Halifax to Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scoian to handle towing and ship handling in Cape Breton.
