Haverty was a Manticoran citizen and a noncommissioned officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Holding the rank of Petty Officer, Haverty served on the bridge of the Q-ship Wayfarer during the Battle of the Selker Rift, and was responsible for damage control. (HH6)
