Barefoot Sounds was a record store located at 16010 Crenshaw Blvd in Gardena, owned by a man named Rick. It was perpetually year-conditioned for the 1960s. Tom Crowell's girlfriend Donna, worked there. Eventually, Crowell applied for a job at Barefoot Sounds so he could keep their relationship going.
