Gueye d'Pardu was a scout flyer pilot, residing on Arrakis, having come there at a young age as an immigrant. Unlike most of the people on Arrakis who appeared desiccated, he had soft flesh and hanging jowls, seeming out of place. He was hired by Aurelius Venport to scout the desert about spice sources.
