Hydra Wyrms (Pieracanthus polycaput) are aquatic lizards with nine necks and heads. They tend to be solitary creatures, living in freshwater lakes and rivers, tending to trawl the bottoms of these waters for food. They have been known to come onto land for a time and even to attack large creatures such as cows and metahumans for food, but this is a rare occurrence. Usually, Hydra Wyrms will not attack any creatures unless provoked, frightened or near starvation.
