The student council is one of highest positions in Ooarai Girls High School. In Girls und Panzer, the student council members serves as the Turtle Team. Their office is at the bridge of their school ship. The student council and more specifically, the president have a very important role on many decisions that determined the fate of Ooarai Girls High School and the Girls und Panzer story-line. It's members joined the Student Council as soon as they enrolled Ooarai as 1st grade high school students, however, the reason why they enrolled on such a young age is unknown
