Frontier Base is one of 3 major NEVEC educational institutions based on on E.D.N. III. Frontier Base is the oldest of the educational institutions and deals in the studies and development of the surrounding forest and marine environments, as well as lead research on Akrid and Snow Pirate activity in the surrounding areas. Within the base is housed excavation site of an large Akrid fossil which resembles a Trilid, and a small Akrid habitats that house Sepia, Dongo and Gordiant.
