Sonia Ibrahim is a British-Egyptian actress who has appeared as Mel Maguire on Coronation Street since December 2016. Coronation Street is Ibrahim's first television role. Her stage credits include Macbeth, Fifteen Minutes and When Both Sides Surrender. Her other credits include the short films Little Red Riding Hood and Left Behind and the documentary Road Safety Campaign.
