The Navarre Bible is a biblical text compilation by Catholic professors of theology at the University of Navarre, initiated by the university founder Saint Josemaria Escriva. The Navarre Bible's English translation uses the Revised Standard Version (RSV) published with ecclesiastical approval. In addition to English, Latin side-by-side and a most impressive notes and commentary section for each translation. This helps to explain the doctrinal and practical meaning of the scriptural text.
