Droidification was a process by which a device or tool was given the ability to convert into a droid form. The resultant droid generally had the limited cognitive capabilities of a labor droid, but its physical characteristics would be composed of elements of whatever device it was made of, and could vary widely in size. The process was almost entirely applied to non-combat equipment, although the Vulture droid starfighter matched the definition of a droidified vehicle, as did Phase III dark trooper of droidified armor.
