True Mastery of the Dark Side was the third book in the Sith Chronicles series and was intended to teach readers about Force powers that inherently drew on the dark side of the Force. Like its two predecessors, it was written and published by Darth Kaos. It became part of the Dathomir Sith Academy curriculum and was followed in the series by Lightsaber Combat: How to Draw on the Dark Side. True Mastery of the Dark Side was also the only book on record that taught how to use technique with Force powers.
