Krat was a Klatooinian assassin from Nal Hutta who in 12,000 BBY was sent to Coruscant by the Hutt Gromi to assassinate Supreme Chancellor Contispex and his Bonardian adviser, Ortal Noess. While the Chancellor was injured, Krat did not succeed in killing his target. He escaped, pursued by Republic soldiers and the newly formed Pius Dea Crusaders. Eventually, he fled the planet and joined the anti-Pius Dea faction lead by the Zabrak Jedi Master Nidirr Otric, making a enemy of his Hutt employer.
